250 g fresh vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, etc.)
250 g fresh potatoes
250 g quark
150 – 180 g FROMART King of Zing , grated
4 tablespoons of milk
Pepper, salt Parsley, chopped
Butter for the ovenproof dish
Boil the vegetables in salted water until still crisp, rinse with cold water, pour away the liquid and allow to drain, then chop coarsely.
Peel the potatoes, cut into quarters and press through a potato press or mincer.
Mix the potatoes with quark, King of Zing and milk, season.
Fold the vegetables and parsley into the mixture and fill into a buttered ovenproof dish.
The dish should only be two thirds full.
Bake the gratin in a preheated oven (200C) for 50 – 60 minutes and serve immediately.
Preparation and cooking time: approx. 90 minutes
Tip: Lightly fried meat makes an ideal accompaniment.
