Fromart Recipes

Cheese is a fantastic ingredient for many different dishes. Cheeses can be used as a hard, uncooked ingredient in a sandwich or grated in a Swissadilla, but often the hot melted cheese adds the perfect flavour component to the gourmet creation. In this section you can find cheese recipes that have been used and tested in Swiss kitchens over many generations. While the high fat component cheeses such as Tilsit and Devils foot are better in cold dishes where the cheese stays in a block or a wedge, the Swiss raw milk cheeses are suitable for dishes where the cheese is melted or cooked. Due to the lower fat content and a different cheese making process the Swiss cheeses make it a MUST for every chef.
