Pick the eggs from your chooks and prepare this easy farmers dish – delicious!
50g bacon or ham
200 g fresh vegetables
6-8 tablespoons of milk
80g FROMART® King of Zing, grated
1-2 cloves of garlic
1/2 teaspoon of salt
a little pepper, nutmeg
Heat up bacon or ham, add oil or fat if required, fry until transparent, remove.
Boil the potatoes in their skins, cut into small cubes and fry in the fat. Cut onions and vegetables into pieces, add and braise.
Add bacon or ham and season with a little salt.
Mix cheese, eggs, milk and seasoning together well and pour over the vegetables.
Move around with a spatula occasionally, until the egg mixture is slightly flaky. Bake the underside without stirring until golden yellow; the top surface must remain moist.
Fold the omelette over and serve immediately.
