Very easy and very quick, but rather hot, the Sap Sago pasta dish.
350 g pasta
400 ml half fat cream
50 g grated Sap Sago
50 g grated cheese
Cook 350g of pasta, simmer 400 of fat reduced cream together with 50 g grated Sap Sago and 50 g of grated alpine cheese such as D’Alpage for 3 min
Season with pepper, a little nutmeg and tabasco
Mix pasta and sauce and serve
Garnish with steamed onion rings, season accordingly
Goes well with apple sauce or salad.
Garnish tip: serve with sliced apples, raw or quickly fried and glazed with butter and sugar
